PolyDyne’s 2004 Users’ Conference to Focus on Increasing User Effectiveness and Adoption of Best Practices With QuoteWin®iX
July 6, 2004 – Austin, Texas: PolyDyne® Software Inc., the leading provider of enterprising solutions for strategic outsourcing to the contract manufacturing services sector, today announced that the company will be holding its 2004 Users’ Conference on August 4-5 in the historic district of downtown Austin, Texas. The company is offering free accommodations for two nights at the Omni Austin Hotel for the first 15 registrants, and a few openings remain.
This year’s conference will focus on increasing user effectiveness and adoption of the best practices in quote processing with QuoteWiniX, the industry’s leading strategic sourcing and RFx management solution. Some of the specific topics and techniques that will be covered include contract management, commodity management, supply base management, using target prices and regional labor to reduce costs, customizing and maximizing use of reports, tuning the QuoteWiniX system for best performance, and incorporating features of the Material, Labor, and Overhead (MLO) module into sales proposals.
In addition, attendees will get an opportunity to preview new QuoteWiniX features and meet with PolyDyne executives and other personnel to discuss their ideas and deliver feedback, which can directly impact the direction of R&D. Furthermore, the conference will serve as a forum for examining current market trends and key quoting issues that impact business and sourcing strategies. Julie Murphree, Founding Editor-in-Chief of Supply & Demand Chain Executive Magazine, will present the keynote address on the topic, “Strategic Sourcing: It’s Time to Raise Your Expectations.”
The cost of the conference is $995 per person, and this includes free admission to all presentations, breakout sessions, executive meetings, and roundtable discussions, free continental breakfasts, snacks, and lunches during the two-day conference, a free dinner at the Pecan Street Café on the Wednesday night of the conference, and a guided tour through Austin’s famous historical district.
“This year’s user conference is one that QuoteWin iX users will not want to miss,” said David Tabb, CEO of PolyDyne. “Attendees will come away with tangible ways of driving down total costs, reducing quoting cycle times, streamlining their day-to-day processes, and increasing their ability to find, act on, and manage strategic information that is already captured in their QuoteWiniX databases. Never before has such a powerful set of topics and techniques been offered in one convenient, two-day forum. We look forward to hosting a record number of attendees this year.”
