PolyDyne Software releases iXchange, a New Web-based Series of Strategic Sourcing Tools
Feb 28, 2001; Austin, Texas:, PolyDyne Software®, a leading software supplier of strategic sourcing tools, announced today the launch of iXchange, a powerful web-based architecture that will re-define the way companies prepare, analyze and distribute procurement data.
iXchange, comprised of DesignWiniX for OEMs, QuoteWiniX for CEMs, and SupplyWiniX for suppliers, allows RFQs, BOMs and POs to be exchanged in seconds reducing the time it takes to deliver information and get responses back.
“By maximizing the quoting process over the internet, customers can increase supply chain efficiencies by 50 percent,” says David Tabb, president and CEO of PolyDyne. “Your quote cycle time can be reduced from weeks to three days or less due to the internet-speed incorporated within iXchange.”
Working off of a Java-based client, customers will enjoy seamless, secure communication between supply chain partners allowing companies to interact much more closely. iXchange also works well with MRP, ERP and legacy systems allowing easy and fast integration with existing IT infrastructure.
PolyDyne will be releasing the first component of iXchange, DesignWiniX, on March 31. Along with being able to access browser-based reports and databases, OEMs can expect to see reporting suites specifically designed for their strategic sourcing needs delivering highly flexible data manipulation capabilities.
