SupplyWin 3.1 Release Completes Upgrades of eWin Solution Suite
June 19, 2000; Austin, Texas: Speed enhancements, graphical changes and report modifications are the highlights of a SupplyWin upgrade from PolyDyne Software Inc. The upgrades enhance an already strong supply chain management product for component suppliers.
This release concludes a comprehensive review and upgrade of SupplyWin 3.1, an eWin Suite solution for the electronics manufacturing industry. PolyDyne’s eWin Solution Suite provides supply chain management software customized to meet the needs of component suppliers, contract manufacturers and electronics OEMs.
SupplyWin, used by component suppliers, facilitates communications with contract manufacturers and is already the market-leader in supply chain management software for component suppliers.
Speed enhancements are the most powerful upgrades of SupplyWin 3.1. The new version focuses on improving throughput when creating reports, retrieving and reviewing quotes, and generating all of the quotes process functions.
The faster processing speed enhances existing timesaving functions, such as the direct e-commerce link with contract manufacturers using PolyDyne’s QuoteWin software, the price look-up feature, and the alternate part recommendation engine. Combined, these features will provide an even greater increase in quote throughput and productivity.
PolyDyne also conducted a comprehensive review of the reporting functions of the program, improving the content of several reports. The upgrade further strengthens the analysis capabilities of SupplyWin, including automatic generation of reports on process statistics, quote maintenance and part number listings.
Along with the new features, the plug and play solution continues to offer users the ability to eliminate paperwork and data entry errors, correct prices for customers, auto-populate quote data fields on new RFQs, and perform several other productivity-enhancing features.
An upgrade to SupplyWin 3.1 will be available at no cost to existing customers participating in the service and support program.
