PolyDyne Software Is Admited to PTC’s Enterprise Software Partner Program
August 24, 2000; Austin, Texas: PolyDyne Software, a leading provider of e-supply chain management tools, and PTC (Nasdaq: PMTC), a leader in collaborative product commerce (CPC) solutions, announced today that PolyDyne has been admitted to PTC’s Enterprise Software Partner (ESP) Program. PolyDyne will develop an interface between its quoting tools and PTC’s Windchill CPC solution that customers can use in the request for quote process.
By aligning with PTC’s rapidly growing Windchill customer base, PolyDyne expects the interface to increase the market for DesignWin and QuoteWin, software tools that simplify and enhance the critical elements in the quoting process. The interface also exposes powerful quote processing tools to a broader range of original equipment manufacturers (OEMs) beyond contract electronics manufacturers (CEMs).
“This agreement provides PolyDyne the opportunity to broaden our product offerings and to create a competitive advantage for our customers. We believe that our quote management tools, coupled with PTC’s innovative CPC solutions will create a powerful, complete solution for the entire collaborative product commerce chain,” said Sean Young, Director of Business Development, PolyDyne.
“PTC recognizes that our customers have vertical market needs where third party offerings help create a more complete enterprise solution. We support companies like PolyDyne whose offerings are complementary to our Windchill product design collaboration solution,” said Nick Maly, Enterprise Software Partner manager, PTC.
“Partnering with the recognized leader in the CPC industry is a natural fit for PolyDyne and will enable us to expand our e-Supply Chain management solutions. We look forward to our quote management tools, DesignWin and QuoteWin interfacing with PTC’s Windchill offering to provide a more comprehensive solution for the supply chain,” said David Tabb, CEO of PolyDyne Software.
