Key Supply Chain Management Issues To Be Explored at Upcoming User Conference

April 2000, Austin, Texas: Electronics manufacturers’ commodity managers and executives will soon have the unique opportunity to impact the quote processing tools they use on a daily basis.

PolyDyne Software Inc.’s (PolyDyne) 3rd annual User Conference, scheduled for June 7-8 Austin, Texas, will explore the key quoting issues that impact enterprise application strategies. Attendees will be able to preview product enhancements and work hands-on with new PolyDyne products. Additionally, the conference will offer valuable opportunities to network with other customers and will feature sessions to discuss ideas for future products and upgrades.

“The User Conferences have always been very successful events for our customers,” said Linda Elkins, vice president of marketing and sales for PolyDyne. “Past attendees have gained valuable insight into the quote processing tools they use on a daily basis, and have been able to directly impact the ongoing development of the QuoteWin, SupplyWin and DesignWin products.”

For example, the Web module was directly modified to include customer flexibility suggestions and several new reports included in the QuoteWin 5.0 upgrade were incorporated as a direct result of customer feedback.

“Our User Conference is valuable to our customers for several reasons,” said David Tabb, founder and president of the company. “While the day-to-day users are gaining hands-on experience and are feeding information directly back into the product development loop, company executives will network with other PolyDyne users to strengthen existing business relationships.”

The first day of the conference will start with demonstrations of new features and product improvements. Participants will get a “sneak preview” of DesignWin 2.0, QuoteWin 5.0, SupplyWin Enterprise, and the enhanced PolyNet. The afternoon will highlight focus groups, with an open forum to discuss operational topics and feedback sessions to explore how PolyDyne’s strategic alliances can benefit the company’s customers.

The following day will feature hands-on sessions with QuoteWin 5.0, DesignWin 2.0 and SupplyWin Enterprise. The day-to-day users of the software will have the invaluable opportunity to explore new product features and enhancements under the direction of product developers.

Strategic alliances and customers will be able to come together in a relaxed atmosphere, as well. The networking opportunities will take center stage during an evening cruise of Lake Austin, where attendees will be able to sample some of Austin’s best features – the city’s famous live music and incomparable Texas barbecue.

More information on the conference, including how to register, can be found on the company’s website at www.PolyDyne.com.
